28th – 30th July
Dear Members of the School of Spiritual Science
We welcome you to attend the Summer Conference of the School of Spiritual Science and join us in taking our further steps on the path through the 19 Class Lessons. This year we will continue our work with Johannes Kühl, now in connection with Lessons 7 – 9. After a long path of preparation, we have reached the Threshold to the spiritual world where, after crossing over, our soul forces separate and we now learn to orientate ourselves as spiritual beings within the spiritual world. We have taken as our title: ‘Experiencing the Threshold’ and will deepen this mighty experience
with Eurythmy led by Coralee Frederickson. The conference will again be interactive with time for explorative and deepening conversations and work in groups.
On Tuesday evening there will be an open talk connected to the theme of the Threshold, but from a very different perspective. Jacob Forward will speak about his experience of working with artificial intelligence with the title ‘Artificial Intelligence, Mortality and What it Means to be Human Today.’ There is no need to book. A donation will be much
appreciated.
The extensive building project at Emerson College that started last year remains ongoing, so we will again work in the Red Studio and Eurythmy Hall which worked so well for us last summer.
All members of the School are very welcome, including those who have newly joined. Please remember to bring your blue card.
This conference immediately precedes the Anthroposophical Society Summer Conference, ’Reimagining the Anthroposophical Society: What kind of a Society is called for now?’ which will be held at Emerson College from 30th July – 2nd August.
We hope that you will stay on and participate in this event too.
With warmest good wishes,
Marjatta van Boeschoten
General Secretary Anthroposophical Society in Great Britain.
