100th Anniversary of the Christmas Conference

Saturday 30^th December, 11am – 5pm, at Rudolf Steiner House

Dear Members,

We are happy to confirm that we will be commemorating the centenary of the Christmas Conference at Rudolf Steiner House on Saturday 30th December, 11am – 5pm. During the day we will be celebrating different aspects of this cosmic world-historic event of the founding of the New Mysteries and the re-founding of the General Anthroposophical Society, which took place on 25th – 31st December 1923.

The day will contain the following contributions:

• The background and events leading to the Christmas Conference, and Rudolf Seiner’s vision for the Anthroposophical Society – Marjatta van Boeschoten
• The significance of the lectures given each evening throughout the week of the Christmas Conference: World History in the Light of Anthroposophy – Andrew Wolpert
• Conversation: To what extent have the intentions of the Christmas Conference been realised and the challenges going forwards – all
• Eurythmy: Experiencing the Foundation Stone through movement – Coralee Frederickson
• The Rhythms of the Foundation Stone – Marjatta van Boeschoten and Adrian Locher
