The Library contains all the published works of Rudolf Steiner in English translation and in the original German ( Die Gesamtausgabe), also typescript translations of many unpublished lectures. There is also a small collection of basic Steiner works in French, Italian and Spanish and an assortment of other languages. All works in English by other anthroposophical authors are held, also some in German and other languages. Journals and Newsletters are kept (plus back numbers) in English, German, French and Dutch, some of which can be borrowed. We have a number of general books relevant to anthroposophy including History, Philosophy, Biography, Poetry, Drama, Mythology, Occultism, Freemasonry, Alternative Technology and Sciences.

Videos on Steiner based initiatives and some tapes of Steiner lectures are also available. Reference material on the history of the movement, archives, prints and photographs may also be consulted.

Membership of the Library is open to everyone. Prospective borrowers who are not members of the Anthroposophical Society will be asked to provide a reference. There is an administrative charge for all borrowers of 30p per book or £10 per year. Please enquire for details.

The Library is open on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday:  12 noon - 2.00pm and 3.00pm - 7.00pm.

(It is closed on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.)
